Job Summary

The Communications Supervisor will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies to enhance KPMG's internal and external communications. This position requires exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively. The Communications Supervisor will collaborate closely with various teams across the organization to drive consistent messaging and ensure effective communication of KPMG's brand and key messages.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement communication strategies to promote KPMG's brand, services, and initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Create and manage compelling content for a variety of communication channels, including newsletters, press releases, social media, website, and intranet.
  3. Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to develop thought leadership articles, whitepapers, and other content that positions KPMG as a trusted industry advisor.
  4. Manage KPMG's social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement across various platforms.
  5. Proactively identify opportunities for media coverage and manage relationships with media outlets to secure positive coverage for KPMG.
  6. Provide strategic guidance and support for internal communications initiatives, including town halls, employee newsletters, and corporate announcements.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry associations, and media partners.
  8. Monitor and analyze communication efforts to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements based on feedback and data insights.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in corporate communications to continuously enhance KPMG's communication strategies.
  10. Manage and mentor a team of communications professionals, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or any Business-related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) in corporate communications, public relations, marketing/brand communications or related roles, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear and concise messages.
  4. Excellent events and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Experience in developing and implementing successful communication strategies across various channels, including digital and social media.
  6. Familiarity with media relations and demonstrated success in securing positive media coverage.
  7. Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and analytics tools.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  9. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  10. Experience managing a team and providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members.
