Job Summary

KPMG is currently seeking Contracting Officers to provide operational support for contracting activities, including contract administration, documentation management, and execution support to ensure compliance with agreed contractual requirements.

Requirements

You’re a strong candidate if you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Finance or a related discipline; with a minimum of Second-Class Lower (2.2) GPA.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in contracting, procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/SCM systems. Experience using Power I or similar reporting tools will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CIMA, CFA, Six Sigma) will be an advantage.
  • Experience working in oil & gas, energy, or large industrial environments is preferred.

You’ll help our oil and gas clients succeed by:

 

  • Supporting contract lifecycle administration activities including contract creation, documentation management, amendment tracking and contract close-out activities
  • Coordinating contract documentation and variation processes.
  • Maintaining contract records and supporting contractual compliance requirements.
  • Supporting contract execution activities in accordance with agreed terms.
  • Liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
  • Assisting with the resolution and escalation of contracting issues as required.
  • Maintaining contract databases, document repositories, and contract records
  • Tracking contract milestones, deliverable, expiry dates, and key contractual obligations
  • Prepare contract status reports and support management reporting requirements
  • Supporting tendering, award, and contract mobilisation activities
  • Coordinating contractor correspondence and document exchanges
  • Escalating contract administration issues requiring management intervention
