Job Summary

KPMG is currently seeking Production Operations Officers to support maintenance planning, scheduling, resource coordination, work pack preparation, materials readiness, and execution support across production operations. The position works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated maintenance plans and schedules.

Requirements

 

You’re a strong candidate if you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations/Maintenance Management, or a related field; with a minimum of Second-Class Lower (2.2) GPA.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, production operations, maintenance execution support, or asset integrity environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise systems such as ERP, CMMS, or asset management platforms. Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., P6, APICS/ASCM, NEBOSH, Six Sigma) will be an advantage.
  • Experience working in oil & gas, energy, or large industrial environments is preferred.

You’ll help our oil and gas clients succeed by:

 

  • Developing and maintaining integrated maintenance plans and schedules to support safe and reliable operations.
  • Preparing execution-ready work packs, including task lists, job steps, resource requirements, and execution sequences.
  • Coordinating maintenance resources, contractors, and specialist support to ensure effective work execution
  • Liaising with operations, maintenance, procurement, logistics, and contractor teams to support execution readiness and schedule delivery.
  • Managing materials, spares, and equipment readiness to support scheduled maintenance activities
  • Supporting field execution teams through schedule updates, work scope adjustments, and execution feedback activities.
  • Supporting integration of operational risks, asset priorities, and schedule constraints into planning and execution activities
  • Participating in planning reviews, Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) sessions, and backlog management meetings
  • Supporting risk-based maintenance planning and providing execution support to optimise schedule performance and continuous improvement.
