Job Summary

The Sales Enablement & Pursuits (SEP) sub-unit consists of Business Partners who are ultimately responsible for driving and contributing to the Firm’s growth strategy by partnering with the Business on all pursuits and business opportunities management and development including proposals, expression of interests, capability statement documents and other relevant marketing document drafting.

Job Details

Job Purpose:

  • Pursuit strategy and market opportunity management 
  • Support in the development of the Firm’s marketing and pitch documents including proposal, expression of interest, capability statement and other pitch presentations
  • Preparation of Pursuit reports 
  • Carry out database management of all marketing documents and serve as a data repository manager
  • Responsible for Credential and CV development/management and serve as a repository manager
  • Business development and client relationship management
  • Other ad-hoc activities as may be required

Principal Duties &Responsibilities:

Pursuit Strategy & Management (Marketing/Pitch Document Development)

  • Assisting in proposals preparation, including expressions of interest, capability statements, etc.
  • Drafting marketing templates and conducting search on KPMG data network for existing templates, credentials, CVs, etc. 
  • Researching KPMG Global database for new Knowledge materials and global qualifications, and applying same 
  • Conducting brand compliance review
  • Liaising with respective Partners and Managers on proposals requests and ensuring prompt delivery to meeting submission deadlines
  • Providing input to the firms’ important proposals including:
  • input to brainstorming sessions on approach and methodology
  • Developing Proposal response strategy and the identifying key issues
  • advice on project management and all logistical aspects of the proposal
  • dissemination of tested practice - on a local, national and international basis
  • Leading overall end-to-end Pursuits’ effort (proposal development process management, pitch submission and follow-up on client’s feedback

Database Management

  • Uploading developed marketing/pitch documents to their respective folders
  • Ensuring an up-to-date marketing/pitch documents folder
  • Regularly updating proposals status (won, lost, pending, aborted, etc.) 

Pursuit Report

  • Compiling marketing/pitch documents from database
  • Liaising with the various divisions/unit managers and coordinators to obtain their proposals list for the period
  • Comparing to existing information and updating 
  • Preparing reports

Credential Management – Collation and Development 

  • Keeping track of all won jobs from the pursuit report
  • Liaising with the various divisions/unit to obtain Job Arrangement Letters (JALs) for the respective jobs
  • Extracting relevant data from JALs to prepare credentials 
  • Filing the credentials under the relevant folders in the Pursuits Management network folders
  • Liaising with the Knowledge Management Team to ensure developed credentials are uploaded into respective KPMG intranet pages
  • Conducting regular updates as information become available

CV Management – Collation and Development

  • Compiling CVs of all new managers 
  • Updating CVs with new engagement experience collected from Job Arrangement Letters (JALs) and developed credentials
  • Filing the CVs under the relevant folders on the Pursuits Management network folders
  • Liaising with the Knowledge Management Team to ensure updated CVs are uploaded into respective KPMG intranet pages 
  • Conducting regular updates as information become available

Others

  • To carry out ad-hoc marketing projects relating to targeting and sales policy
  • To handle new business enquiries and direct promptly to appropriate client service staff within the firm.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of First degree in any discipline from a reputable University
  • Minimum of a Second-class Upper Division
  • 3-5 years post NYSC relevant experiences (Business Development, Marketing Communications
